Free Write Friday; Celebrating Autumn

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
-Albert Camus

Free Write Friday celebrates the changing season; from the heated breath of summer into the sweet relief of Autumn.
I personally love the fall of year and all it brings; Beautiful foliage and cooler weather.
Autumn is…
Preperation for holiday’s rounding the corner and time with family.
Catching up on all the things the year has given, in Thanksgiving.
Dad’s and Uncle’s gathered in a noisy living room, yelling at the t.v. watching the football game.
It’s the time of year that nature begins tucking her flowers away, whispering the most colorful bedtime story as they drift away, to sleep through the cold of winter.
What comes to your mind when you think of Autumn? Does the exit of Summer make you sad, or do you welcome Autumn’s chill?
Do you think of playing in the leaves, Halloween, Turkey? Tell me…
Ready, set, write!

Here’s a little something for y’all. I’m glad to see fall coming this year; usually I like summer to hang around as long as it will stay, but I’ve had enough.

*grumbles and growls* I love autumn on the few days when the skies are clear and crisp, but otherwise I think this little ditty will give you a pretty clear indication on how I feel about it…. *smile*
