The following is an acrostic that I wrote for two adorable friends of mine who will wed this spring. Congratulations, Autumne and Justin.
This is them. Told ya they were adorable!
At last, my heart knows of true love; for once I stood
under the spell of longing and dreams for such, but now
they flee in your sweet kiss; in the comfort of your
undeniably honest spirit that holds my hand.
My soul dances in your embrace; your lips and eyes
nevermore will I roam alone, for in this moment we are
evermore together; infinitely inseparable.
Justified by these holy vows, my words; true,
underneath a new spring sun; even the flowers smile.
Surrendering, I offer myself to you, completely
til time no longer exists and forever is found.
In giving rings and promises, knowing now that
nothing else in the world matters, but you and I.
Beautiful acrostic, so full of emotion and soul! And I love how the little note on the photo says: “I said yes”. So sweet! Congrats to your friends!

They’re lucky to have a friend like you. Acrostics are extremely hard to pull off without them sounding wrought and corny. Kudos on this Kellie, and I wish your friends good luck.
