Winter Goose Publishing Reveals Cover for Withering

Today, my publisher, Winter Goose Publishing, revealed the cover for my novella, Withering. I hope you will stop by to see it and read the blurb for the story. I’d love your feedback, so please return and leave me a comment. I look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Excited and so happy for you Kellie! I am looking forward to reading the story and I love the cover. I have not been around much lately, missing the FWF and such, but now that I still read the prompts, just nothing has spurred me lately. Lost in my own …, anyway know that I think about you and hope you are doing well. Again, congratulations on the book!!!

  2. The cover does fit the story, the colours and the half face of the old man makes it haunting, the dessert in the background makes it like a lost man.

Has to be an interesting novella, a battle from within the main character. Can you find this online? Or is it going to be on paper in the U.S?

    1. Thank you for your insightful comment about the cover. You’re absolutely right with all of your thoughts. :)
The book will be available both in ebook and print once released. Stay tuned for the release date, here and on my Twitter and Facebook page. Xo

  3. Absolutely striking. Also, with grace and elegance and no condescension, can’t wait to read it. A strong man yet with sadness and tenderness in his eyes. I LOVE IT, Kellie. It’s MY kind of book. Well done. Congratulations, so proud of you. ( how about you giving a class on writing instead of Rebecca? Think about it please?? ) Laurie

    1. Thank you, Laurie. I think the cover is a perfect representation of the story. As for a writing class of my own, I think Free Write Friday is about as much of a class you will get from me as I am always learning and feel that writing is the raw dumping of emotion…and how on earth do you teach that? :) But I do thank you for your encouragement and faith in me :)

    1. I am looking forward to the response after everyone reads it. I am so nervous! If the story manages to move one person and evoke emotion, I will be super happy. I hope you will give me your review! :)

Thanks for reading...
