Prompt Playground
Here you will find various prompts and challenges to keep your muse entertained! Should you decide to partake, please add a link (or ping) back to this page and comment below with the link to your post(s). You may want to consider creating a new category for your challenge and posting the link to it, rather than commenting with multiple links. This makes it easier for everyone to follow your journey. Enjoy!
*NEW* 10 Ways to Nurture Your Mind, Body & Soul in 10 Days! This challenge is a Kellie Elmore original! You may be complete in any order over 10 consecutive days.
Please read all ten challenges before beginning and then decide if you can commit.
1. Choose a religion, philosophy or someone you’re curious about and spend the day researching. If you choose something/someone you truly want to know more about, this will be fun and easy! Share what you learned…
2. Write a poem. Easy huh? Not so fast… Write a poem outside of your usual style. Try a new form like a Vignette, Quatrain or Villanelle! Post it to your blog and share the link.
3. Find time to meditate. Then write something immediatley afterward. Post & Share
4. Let go! Take a moment to reflect and realize something that bothers/affects you from your past. Vent your feelings by writing them on notebook paper, read it back to yourself, then burn it! Share how this made you feel.
5. Memorize an inspiring proverb or quote. What is it and why did you choose it?
6. Drop a bad habit. Just for today, lay down the smokes, leave the soda alone and drink water or watch your potty mouth by finding silly, creative words to replace those F bombs…(if you choose this, please share your newfound words with us) What did you do? Did you succeed and if not don’t worry, everyone gets an A for effort.
7. Go for a walk. Snap a picture of something interesting you saw and write something using it as a prompt. Post & share.
8. Laugh! Laughter does many wonderful things for the mind, body and soul! Google jokes, have fun reading and find one that makes you literally “LOL”. Post & Share.
9. Karma; “What goes around comes around” Do something nice for someone today. Take one little extra step to make their day better. The trick is…they can’t know it was you. What did you do? Post & Share.
10. Get out! Spend a day outside! Remember the days before technology brainwashed us? When your parents would make you play outside instead of sitting in front of the t.v. all day? Consider this your mama’s orders! Leave the laptop/PC, ipads, ipods and phones off and soak up nature. Remember imagination? Use it! Share what you did and how you coped without your eyes glued to a screen.
*Upon completion of the challenge…
Finish the line with the first thing that comes to mind:
“One thing I’ve learned about myself in the last ten days is…”
(Elaborate.) Post & Share with your last entry.

http://www.district6.org/blogs/megangrace/catergory/30-day-challenges/
hope you enjoy it.
Thank you ♥
I am not ready to enter my answers to a truth challenge into a competition. Daily, I challenge myself to be bluntly honest with myself in my journal. Often that spills into my blog.
http://www.benjity.wordpress.com
Then you are already in
The only challenge here is to challenge yourself. No competition
I’m embarrased to admit that I am on day 14 of the letter writing challenge and had no idea it was a competition… and I am technologically challenged and have no idea how to post a link for you. Although, if you click on my name here it will take you to my blog where you will find a heading for the 30 day challenge… Computers are way beyond my abilities I’m afraid…
No worries…its easy to get behind. I am right now. Lol and don’t worry bout posting your link, we will find u.
What interesting challenges here, Kelly. I’m wondering if I can put aside my other stuff in do them or if I should post them on my second blog since I haven’t been posting there often. I’m really thinking about this, thanks….
Yayyy! Let me know when and where you start posting so I can follow
What inspires me? here is my bog! http://marilynsmind.wordpress.com

It is fun!
Happy to have you joining me.

Just stopped by over there to thank you. Nice blog! ♥
This is a treasure!
I’d love to take one.
is there anyway we can get these emailed to us? how about a Google writing group, perhaps? blogging is quite hard on wordpress for the VI.
That is foreign territory to me, google I mean. Walk me through it? Or possibly consider helping me host? Let me know via emaik. Thanks for the suggestion.

these challenges are super cool. i want to start one soon. will keep you posted.
Can’t wait to follow! Thanks!
So this is probably a dumb question but I’m not getting how I. Put this link on to facebook and it just updates on there and shows in the news feed. I know there’s a way because people did it with the 30 day photo challenge. Any ideas? I want to do the 30 day letter challenge.
I’m not sure but I think the way people are auto posting to FB is by linking their WP accounts. You may get better advice by asking someone who is doing it. I wish I could be more help
You can always just post the links individually to your wall each time you do a day, I know thats the hard way, I’m so sorry. I will however ask some participants for you and get back to you. Good luck and I hope this doesn’t discourage you from joining in

Ps… I should have noted that it does not have to be 30 CONSECUTIVE days lol, maybe that would relieve some ppl
I’m so bad at this, I started the Inspiration challenge in February (January), and I have just posted the answer to Day 3! But I’m going to finish it; it will just take longer than 30 days. I like and enjoy the challenge, but I’m not good at posting everyday!
Anyways, here’s the link to Day 3 of the Inspiration challenge: Music for the Stranded.
I’ll do this more often!
No worries! Does not have to be done in 30 consecutive days
